Contemplative Outreach& Centering Prayer
Contemplative Outreach is a spiritual network of individuals and small faith groups committed to living the contemplative dimension of the Gospel in everyday life throught he practice of Centering Prayer. (The american spelling of centering gives a clue to the origin on the movement). David Rees, treasurer and quaker borough Dean, and a colleague Jill Benet have arranged with Canon Joseph Collins and Sister Kathleen of St. Mary's Church, Wellesley Road, West Croydon to mount an Introductory Day on Saturday 12th September in the crypt of St Mary's with 6 follow up evening sessions on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings. More information about the movement can be found on 2 websites:
www.couk.org and www.contemplativeoutreachlondon.org.uk
